Weening my son has been an interesting journey so far, I am extremely fortunate that he loves his food and tries everything I put in front of him. I love watching his little face light up as he tastes something new for the first time, it's just wonderful! It is important to me that Theodore gets a varied, healthy diet full of different flavours and so I cook him everything from Indian spicy fish curries to Italian chicken with pesto and Chinese chicken noodles. I am determined that Theodore will not be a fussy eater and so far it's paid off. His diet includes all kinds of meat, fish and vegetables with gentle spices and herbs to tickle his tastebuds.

I follow a mix of baby led weening and traditional weening. Offering Theo some finger foods with each meal as well as a main course and dessert item which I feed him with a spoon.

This blog is really for me to record what I am feeding Theodore so that I can look back at our journey. However, I hope it gives some inspiration to others on how to make weening your baby a fun and interesting journey. All the dishes on here are aimed at 7 months plus. Theodore does not have any food allergies as yet and so I urge you to be cautious when weening and ensure that when you cook with allergy foods such as nuts or shellfish, that you do so with caution. Also please ensure you check fish thoroughly for bones etc before cooking for your little ones.
